Jamshedpur, Nov 26: Jamshedpur Women’s University hosted an introduction ceremony for its 2024–2026 batch on November 25, 2024, under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anjila Gupta. The event commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony by Dean of Student Welfare Dr. Kishwar Ara, Director PF.B. Dr. Ratna Mitra, Education Faculty Coordinator Dr. Kamini Kumari, and Head of Department Dr. Sanjay Bhuiyan.
Dr. Kamini Kumari delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the role of teachers as nation builders. Dr. Kishwar Ara inspired students with her insights on teaching’s impact on society. Continuing the event, senior students of the 2023–2025 batch presented a welcome song and a detailed PPT showcasing the university’s offerings.
Assistant Professors Soni Kumari, V. Shyamala, and Prabhat Kumar Mahato briefed students about the curriculum, while faculty and staff introduced themselves. The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Sanjay Bhuiyan and a motivational message from Prof. Dr. Anjila Gupta.
The event, efficiently conducted by Dr. Tripura Jha, included significant contributions from B.Ed. faculty members, culminating in the national anthem and good wishes for the incoming students.
