Jamshedpur Women’s University students worship Goddess Durga

Jamshedpur, Sep 29: Goddess Durga was worshipped at Jamshedpur Women’s University on Thursday. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Anjila Gupta participated in the puja along with the students of JWU hostel. A welcome speech was given by Amrita Kumari. A dance was performed on this occasion. The students also sang ground song and enacted a small play besides presenting several other musical and dance events.

In her address, the Vice Chancellor said Goddess Durga is an epitome of mercy, power and love. Without Mother, the world will come to an end, she said.

Other dignitaries present on this occasion included Dr Kishwar Ara, Dr Annapurna Jha and Dr Sushil Tiwary.
