Jamshedpur Women’s University Science Day: B.Sc. Students Showcase Innovation Through Exhibits and Posters

Jamshedpur, March 1: Science Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU), organized by the Department of Botany and Physics. The event featured exhibitions and poster presentations by B.Sc. first-year students, showcasing their scientific knowledge and creativity.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anjila Gupta, while addressing the students, highlighted the vast employment opportunities in the field of science. She emphasized that the students of the university are capable and actively contributing to various scientific fields.

The event was graced by Prof. H.L. Yadav (NIT) as the keynote speaker. In his address, he spoke about the potential of Indian youth in advancing the nation and emphasized the vast possibilities in research. Dean of Student Welfare, Dr. Kishwar Ara, delivered the welcome address, while Registrar Rajendra Jaiswal also shared his thoughts on the occasion.

The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Salomi Kujur, Head of the Botany Department. The event was attended by faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students from various departments, including Dr. Rupali Ghosh and B. Jaya Lakshmi.
