Jamshedpur Women’s University Journalism students display talents in film exhibition

Jamshedpur, July 22: Jamshedpur Women’s University showcased the skills of its students in a film exhibition organized by the Department of Journalism and Communication. Under the guidance of the esteemed Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr) Anjila Gupta, 3rd-year students from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication presented their films. The films screened during the exhibition covered diverse topics such as Poverty, Aasra (Old Age Home), Graduate Pass Students, and Cancer Awareness.

To ensure the students’ work reached its full potential, the university invited Faculty Rahul Amin from Arka Jain University as a mentor. He graciously provided valuable feedback and suggestions to the aspiring filmmakers, encouraging their growth and development.

Shalini Prasad, a faculty member from the Department of Journalism and Communication, extended a warm welcome to Rahul Amin from Arka Jain University. His expertise played a vital role in enriching the students’ projects and guiding them through the filmmaking process.

The successful execution of this event not only certified the talents and competencies of the students but also offered them a platform to engage as active participants, addressing pertinent societal issues through their films. With the support of their mentors and the university’s guidance, the students were able to shine and create impactful works that reflected the realities of society.
