Jamshedpur Women’s University: Deans and faculties nominated, VC to chair Exam Board

Jamshedpur, July 14: Jamshedpur Women’s University Vice-Chancellor Dr Anjila Gupta nominated the Deans and faculties of various departments on Thursday. A notification was issued in this connection by the Registrar In-charge Dr Prabhat Kumar Singh.

As per the notification, the news Deans include Dr Sudhir Sahu (Humanities), Dr Sabeeha Yunus (Social Science), Dr Javed Ahmed (Science). Dr Sudhir Kumar Sahu has been given additional charge as Dean of Commerce Department.

The VC has also nominated heads of departments (HODs), placement cell and vocational cell with immediate effect. In another decision, the University has formed the Exam Board which will be chaired by the VC. Dr Rama Subramaniam has been nominated as the Member Secretary of Exam Board. Registrar In-charge Dr Prabhat and all Deans will be members of the Board, sources said.
