Jamshedpur, Feb 15: The contract workers rendering services in Jamshedpur Women’s University have complained to the Deputy Labour Commissioner (DLC) of Jamshedpur regarding alleged discrepancies in the payment of wages to them by the agency concerned. They sent a joint petition to the DLC through speed post. Not disclosing their names, they said their employer agency did not pay them the full wage. Although the workers are made to sign on a receipt disclosing full amount, they are given much less amount in wages, said the petitioners.
