Jamshedpur: It is a moment of great pride for Jamshedpur Women’s University as a delegation of students has departed for Rajiv Gandhi University in Arunachal Pradesh under the Ashtalakshmi Darshan Youth Exchange Program.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Anjila Gupta extended her best wishes to the participants, noting that this is a magnificent opportunity for students to witness and understand Northeast Indian culture firsthand. She emphasized that the experience will be highly beneficial for their personal and academic growth.
The program is scheduled to run from February 18 to March 3, featuring a joint delegation of students from Jamshedpur Women’s University and Puducherry. Under the leadership of B.Ed. faculty member Dr. Tripura Jha, the participating students include Anima Kumari, Rani Giri, Deepti Kumari, Shivangi Mishra, and Mondrita Chatterjee.
The Jharkhand government is bearing the entire cost of the trip, providing a golden opportunity for these students to gain a comprehensive understanding of Arunachal Pradesh’s heritage. Registrar Dr. Salomi Kujur also joined in wishing the students a safe journey and a successful exchange experience.
