Jamshedpur, Dec 23: One Chanda Parveen, resident of Rahmatnagar, Kapali, was hospitalized in serious condition after she reportedly set her room on fire on Friday following a heated debate with her mother. She was taken to MGM Hospital by her husband Mohammad Sajid.
Sajid told police his wife had an altercation with her mother over some transaction. Chanda locked herself in her room after a tiff with her mother and set the room on fire. Due to heavy smoke, she could not breathe and fell unconscious, he said, adding that his wife had attempted suicide earlier.
