Jamshedpur woman commits suicide

Jamshedpur, April 2: Maina Das, a 36-year-old woman living in Sharda City on National Highway-33 of Mango police station area, committed suicide by hanging herself. On getting information about the incident, Maina Das’s husband Uttam Das informed the police. After this the police reached and broke the door and brought down the body of Maina Das hanging in the room. On Sunday, the police is engaged in the investigation of the case.

Uttam Kumar Das told the police that Maina Das has a 16-year-old son. His name is Priyanshu Das. Maina Das committed suicide on Saturday night around 11:00 pm by tying a scarf to the fan. Uttam Das works as a salesman. It is alleged that she was suffering from depression for last four years. Police has sent the dead body for postmortem.
