Jamshedpur: Winter chill makes a comeback, temp to rise in 4-5 days

Jamshedpur, Jan 20: Chilling weather is back after a brief gap of a few days. Many districts of Jharkhand are witnessing cold and fog. Khunti recorded a maximum temperature of 24.2 degree Celsius on Thursday. The minimum temperature was recorded at 6.5 degree Celsius in Deoghar.

The minimum temperature at Ranchi was recorded at 9.8. The minimum temperature in other areas was 8 to 14 degree Celsius.

As per official data, Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Chaibasa and Khunti recorded 14.2, 8.5, 14.4 and 10.2 degrees Celsius respectively while Ramgarh, Simdega and Daltonganj recorded 8.1, 12 and 7.1 degree Celsius respectively.

Weather scientists said the temperature may rise by four to five degrees in the next four to five days. Fog is expected in the morning at Jamshedpur, Chaibasa, Ranchi and Ramgarh, they said.

Met sources said the weather will be clear from 23rd January onwards.
