‘Encounter criminals,’ demands Police Men’s Association

Jamshedpur, Dec 9: Tiger Mobile Jawan Ramdev Mahto, while attempting to catch a group of criminals trying to get away after committing a murder in Mango, was shot at by them that turned fatal as he succumbed to his bullet wound while undergoing treatment at the hospital. His mortal remains were brought to the Golmuri Police Lines on Saturday morning, where a Guard of Honor was accorded. Touching tributes were paid to martyred Tiger Mobile Jawan Ramdev Mahto whose bullet wound turned fatal.
Present at the ceremony were Kolhan DIG Ajay Linda, Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, SDPO Piyush Sinha, SSP Kishore Kaushal, City SP Mukesh Lunayat, Rural SP Rishabh Garg, and Saraikela SP, Dr Vimal Kumar along with several police officials from Kolhan.
Emotions ran high during the Guard-f-Honour presented to the mortal remains of Tiger Mobile Jawan martyr Ramdev Mahto at the Golmuri Police Lines. The last rites of martyr Ramdev Mahto were performed at his ancestral village in Manoharpur.
During the Guard-of Honour, Kolhan DIG Ajay Linda said, “The police have lost a brave companion. The sacrifice of Ramdev cannot be compensated. The way he bravely dealt with criminals is something the police department will never forget.”
SSP Kishore Kaushal informed that martyr Ramdev Mahto’s family would soon receive the benefits of government provisions. “The culprits will be rounded up shortly. The extreme sacrifice of Ramdev Mahto will not go in vain.”

The office bearers of the Jharkhand Police Men’s Association said that the Jamshedpur Police consistently adopted a stern approach against criminals. They demand that the criminals involved in the recent incident should be encountered by the police, instilling fear of police action among wrongdoers.
Jharkhand Police Men’s Association officials stated, “The Jamshedpur Police have always maintained a tough stance against criminals. The police should encounter such criminals so that the fear of police action is ingrained in them.”
Martyred Jawan Ramdev Mahato’s assailants will not be spared: Hemant Soren
Ranchi, Dec 9: Chief Minister Hemant Soren, while expressing his condolence, stated that strict punishment would be meted out to the assailants of Jharkhand Police Jawan Ramdev Mahato. “No one involved in the killing will be spared. Stringent punishment will be given to the culprits.” It may be mentioned that the assailants shot Jharkhand Police Jawan Ramdev Mahato fatally on Friday morning at Mango in Jamshedpur.
