Jamshedpur: Warm send-off for class 12 students at Motilal Nehru Public School

Jamshedpur, April 17: Graduation Nite was organized at Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) for graduating class 12 students on Saturday, April 17.

Chief Guest for the occasion was HOD Accounts and Business Management of Kolhan University, Dipa Sharan.

School managing committee chairman VS Rana, Honorary Secretary Dr DP Shukla, Anurag Agnihotri and R P Tyagi, former chairman of MNPS.

Graduating students’ procession was applauded by one and all as they pledged to carry forward the light of knowledge as they left the school’s portals.

A dance performance symbolizing power and strength in the human form was staged.

School principal Ashu Tiwary encouraged students to carry forward the light of hope, knowledge and prosperity in the years to come.

Some inspiring thoughts were shared by the students pertaining to life and optimism. On behalf of the faculty, teacher Naresh Ishar blessed the graduating batch of 2021 and inspired them to achieve success in every field and to keep the MNPS banner flying high.

Appreciation, character certificates and mementos were presented to the outgoing batch.

The Chief Guest, Dr Dipa Sharan, in her speech observed, “While the school prepares empowered young adults to move ahead in society, it is the responsibility of every student to ensure that they give back to society in whichever capacity they can. Be socially active and dream big.”

Two special awards for the graduates of the year- Jewel of MNPS for the students who understand and experienced struggle in all spheres of life and Principal’s Award for the one who brought laurels to the school at national or international level were presented.

All High School and plus two teachers including music teachers Subroto Biswas and Anindita Biswas added zest to the programme. 

Principal, Ashu Tiwary extended the vote of thanks.
