Jamshedpur, Aug 29: Tata Steel Sports Department organized walkathon on Monday, August 29 at JRD Tata Sports complex. The event was held as part of the Sir Dorabji Tata Birth Anniversary and National Sports Day Celebrations. Total of 126 men and women participated in six different categories.
Prince Kumar and Shradah Rani were declared the winners in category 20 to 30 years (2.4 km).
In category 30 to 40 years (2km) Biswanath and Sonal bagged the first position.
Ram Lakhan and M Shanti won in the 40 to 50 years category (1.6km).
In category 50 to 60 years (1.2km) Millu Ram and Deepti Singh bagged top position.
Ravindra Prasad and Tapurti Chaterjee won in the 60 to 70 years category (1 km).
In above 60 years category Dr Harbilass Das was declared the winner.
