Kashish Agarwal scores 99% in Science, Snehal Khurana secures 97.4 in Commerce
More than 50 students secured 90% and above marks
Jamshedpur, July 22: Continuing the tradition, students of Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya again hogged the limelight in CBSE Class 12 exam, the result of which was announced on Saturday, July 22.
Inspite of the pandemic year, School produced city toppers in Pure Science and Commerce stream while more than 50 students secured 90% and above marks. Kashish Agarwal has been declared the school and city topper scoring 99 % marks in Pure Science.

Snehal Khurana from Commerce stream secured 97.4% and was declared the school and city topper.
In Biology stream Karuna Prabha topped the school scoring 96.8% marks. Soumya Ranjan Biswal from Humanities secured 97.8% to top the school.
Humanities- the nouveau discipline introduced in the Vidyalaya sculpted phenomenal results thus adding grandeur to the Vidyalaya’s crowning moment of glory.
Soumya Ranjan Biswal exhibited exemplary performance and emerged as the stream topper of Humanities with a scintillating 97.8%. He has also claimed the perfect score in Political Science and Painting with 100%. Out of 25 students who appeared, four students garnered an aggregate of 90% in school, seven students claimed an aggregate of 80% while fourteen students obtained first division.

Out of the 392 students who appeared in the examination, 210 students secured a place in the distinction category. In this examination, 91% students are placed in the First division.
Principal, Mina Wilkhu said, “Inspite of the challenging year our children have done very well and the good result is the outcome of hard work of teachers as well. We wish them bright, healthy and happy life ahead”. She also thanked ever supporting VMC members, Manas Mishra (Chairman), B. Surendranath (Vice Chairman), V C Dixit (Secretary) and Mridula Sachdeva (Treasurer) for their constant guidance and motivation.
