Jamshedpur VHP leaders seek action against slaughterhouses

Jamshedpur, Oct 15: Members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Kharangajhar Bajrang Akhara put up a demonstration at Telco police station after recovery of animal flesh from the local Vikas Maidan on Saturday morning.

BJP leader Ankit Anand alleged that deliberate attempt was being made by anti-social elements to disturb peace in the area and demanded action against local slaughterhouses. They demanded intensive patrolling in the area and action against the culprits. Local police officials assured to probe the incident. They seized the flesh and sent it to laboratory for testing. The protestors alleged that the police had failed to take action against the culprits despite reporting of similar incidents earlier.
