Jamshedpur, Nov 30: Two youths died in a road accident near Ulda Dharmkanta on the National Highway 18 under Galudih police station area late yesterday night.
According to sources, an unknown vehicle knocked them down at high speed. The deceased were identified as Vikas Gorai and Pintu Tudu, both residents of Ghasila, by their kin. Police sent their bodies to Ghatsila Sub-divisional Hospital for postmortem examination.
Sources said Vikas and Pintu were returning home to Kashida on a bike all the way from Everest Engineering Company. The two worked as contract labourers. Their kin alleged that a truck used in dumping slag crushed the duo to death. They said they will not allow autopsy of the bodies unless and until the police search and find the killer vehicle.
