Jamshedpur, May 24:The court of Additional District and Session Judge (V) cum Special POCSO Judge Sanjay Kumar Upadhyaya acquitted two persons, Shahid Ansari and Arman Ansari, accused of molesting a 15 year old girl in Kadma, here on Tuesday.
The acquittal came after the alleged victim could not identify the accused persons. The victim reportedly told the court she was asked to give statement against the accused persons, sources said.
The case dates back to May 2021 when the victim was going home from bank. The accused persons allegedly stopped and harassed her midway. They also allegedly tore her clothes and she reached home somehow, sources said.
