Hike in shop rent impractical: Anil Modi
District BJP general secretary Anil Modi criticized the state government’s decision to increase shop rents. He said the decision was not only impractical but also against the larger interest of the business community. He said the traders of the city were doing business for the last many decades. But the hike in rent is unpredented as it is huge and arbitrary, he said.
“The government is insensitive towards the traders and it has nothing to do with the needs and aspirations of the people,” said Modi.
