Jamshedpur, June 23: Several traders of Kadma led by the president of Jamshedpur Chamber of Commerce Harvinder Singh Mantu organized a meeting on Thursday to discuss strategy to protest against the recent hike in shop rent. They discussed recent developments and unanimously decided to put up a strong opposition against the state government’s decision to hike shop rent.
Addressing the traders, Mantu said an appeal would be filed against the government order before the court of the Deputy Commissioner. All traders should have faith in the due process of law, he said.
