Jamshedpur, March 10: Jharkhand is all set to witness change in weather in the coming few days. As per Meteorological predictions, the weather will remain humid for the next five days. In some areas, especially Kolhan, rain and hailstorm are expected, Met sources said.
According to weather scientist Abhishek Anand, “Rain and hailstorm would be seen in the southern, central and Santhal region of the state. East Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan would also see such a change in weather condition. Light to medium rain would occur in different parts of Jharkhand from 10th to 13th March. On 14th March, the weather would be dry, though the sky may be cloudy.”
Anand maintained that pre-Monsoon activities would gather pace in Jharkhand from 15th March due to trough run in northeastern Uttar Pradesh, central Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbh and Marathwada. As a result, some parts may experience rain. On Thursday, Kumardungi of West Singhbhum recorded 11.1 mm rain. Chaibasa recorded maximum temperature at 36 degree Celsius, sources said.
