Jamshedpur, Sept 14: The festive spirit of Navratri is set to brighten Jamshedpur with the Dandiya Utsav, scheduled for September 28 at Baradwari Ground, Sakchi. The event being organised by Dreamful Events and Reflection Network Event promises to be one of the biggest cultural celebrations of the city.
The organisers announced details of the Utsav during a press conference at Hotel Trax International, Sakchi. They said the evening will feature popular DJs, including DJ Arshi from Kolkata, along with DJ Pawan, Joy, Akul, and Akash, who will set the mood with lively Garba and Dandiya beats.
Participants can look forward to several attractions such as free dandiya sticks, complimentary photography, and satvik delicacies at food stalls. Special competitions will also be held, with prizes for Best Dress, Best Couple, Best Dancer, and Best Group.
Adding to the excitement, a lucky draw will offer grand rewards including mobile phones and jewellery. The event is expected to draw a large crowd of dandiya enthusiasts and will also be attended by several dignitaries.
The organising team includes Asha Singh, Harsh Singh, Muskan Gorai, Trisha Singh, K. Nishan, Satyajit Singh, Shivani Ojha, Saurabh, Dev, and Rakesh, who assured that the celebration will be a memorable experience for the people of Jamshedpur.
