Jamshedpur to get air quality system worth Rs 12 cr

Jamshedpur, July 13: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) is going to install air quality system worth Rs 12 crore in the city with the view to purify the air and also measure pollution level. A digital screen would be installed to provide information on the air pollution levels in the city. It would cost Rs 1 crore, sources said.

According to Krishna Kumar, Special Officer, JNAC, “We would soon be installing the air quality system that would be purchased from the 15th Finance Commission funds. A meeting was held in this connection at the DC office. The Deputy Commissioner has issued directions to implement the plan as soon as possible.”
