Jamshedpur, June 2: Tata Steel in collaboration with Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (TSUISL) will be constructing a rain protection shed for the passage between the Tata Main Hospital (TMH) Emergency Area and OPD blocks, said a press communique issued by Tata Steel.
It states that this project aims to enhance convenience and safety of patients, staff, and visitors during extreme weather conditions. Construction of rain protection structure is planned to facilitate patient movement between Emergency & OPD. The road between Emergency & OPD building, leading towards JGMH will be temporarily closed starting from June 3, 2023. In view of the construction activity, patient vehicular movement is planned as follows: Entry to CCU, ICU & JGMH will be routed through gate besides Nursing college. Exit from the same will be through gate in front of Hotel Centre point. Entry & exit for rest of the TMH visit shall remain unchanged.
