Jamshedpur: Three-day kids fair at Sidhgora Children’s Park from Nov 12

Jamshedpur, Oct 15: Three-day fair will be organized by Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy on Children’s Day from 12 to 14 November at Children’s Park in Sidhgora, Surya Mandir premises. Various science programs, sit and draw and essay competition for children from nursery to high school will be held.

Children will be given free entry at the fair and they can enjoy various exciting and entertainment programs including joy rides, sports, swimming pool. It is worth mentioning that condition of Children Park and swimming pool had worsened due to irregularities while the sports equipment was thrown out of the park in a haphazard manner.

Due to the carelessness in the maintenance of the park, many of its valuable equipment got junked due to which the children of the city were deprived of facilities in the park and its purpose could not be fulfilled. The park has now been renovated and beautified on the initiative of MLA Saryu Roy.

New equipment have installed for kids in Children Park and expert opinion is being taken for better development of the facility. The responsibility of park maintenance has been given to Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee.  MLA Saryu Roy will inaugurate the Children’s Fair and dedicate new and improved Park to the kids of Jamshedpur.
