Jamshedpur, Feb 12: Olidih police arrested three persons in connection with the incident of dacoity committed in the office of Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited near Uma Hospital on the National Highway 33.
Those arrested were identified as Naseem Ahmad, Sanjay Chik Baraik and Jumaruddin Ansari. Cops recovered cash worth Rs 16,000 and a car from the possession of the accused persons. The car was used in the dacoity, police said.
Cops said a total of seven persons had visited Bharat Financial office on the day of the incident. Five of them went inside while two others waited outside. During interrogation, cops found out that a former employee of the bank colluded with the accused persons and planned the dacoity. Naseem Ahmad is a hardcore criminal who was booked for loot, murder and other heinous crimes. He committed the dacoity soon after being released from jail, cops said. Naseem was arrested in Ranchi while Jumaruddin and Sanjay were caught in Jamtara and Gumla respectively.
