Jamshedpur, May 25: The crime control and detection squad of Tatanagar railway police arrested one Sheikh Naseem while fleeing after stealing the purse and mobile phone of a passenger near the Old Reservation Counter of Tatanagar station on Wednesday.
The accused, a resident of Purulia, West Bengal, was handed over to Government Railway Police.
Cops said the accused had stolen the purse and mobile phone of a passenger, identified as Mithun Das, and was caught after a chase.
