Jamshedpur, May 17: Golmuri police arrested one thief, identified as Ashok Yadav, red-handed behind the Incab company on Monday. They also confiscated an auto-rickshaw with stolen iron loaded on it. Three associates of the accused gave police the slip, sources said.
Cops said a patrol team of Golmuri police noticed several people near the boundary wall behind the company late night. When the cops reached the spot, they saw several people engaged in suspicious activities. The accused persons were reportedly loading stolen iron on the auto-rickshaw. On seeing the police, three of them escaped while one was caught after a chase, cops said.
An FIR has been lodged against the four accused on the information of sub inspector Pawan Kumar Ram, police said.
