Jamshedpur: Ten sports teachers receive APR Nair Excellence Award

Jamshedpur, Sept 7: On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, a special program was organized by the Mango Welfare Mission at the APJ School premises in Mango.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of the prestigious APR Nair Excellence Award to ten outstanding sports teachers of the city.

The program was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, District Education Officer cum RDD, Nirmala Kumari Barelia, who bestowed recognition upon all the teachers. Each awardee received a token of appreciation and honor for their remarkable contributions in the field of sports.

In her address, Barelia encouraged students to actively participate in sports and consider pursuing careers in this field, emphasizing the importance of physical fitness and sportsmanship.

Shyam Kumar Sharma of High School, Rahargoda, V Arun Kumar of JH Tarapore, Ashfaq Ahmed of Beldih Church School, Dhanranjan Sharma of NML KPS, Kundan Kumar Chandra of KPS Mango, Vikas Mishra from Chakulia, Shahbaz Khan of KSMS,

Cricket coach Ajay Das, Sports teacher Soni Kumari, Football coach Md Shafiq.

Unfortunately, Ajay, Soni, Shafiq, and Rohit Kumar were unable to attend the program due to unforeseen circumstances.

The event also saw the presence of Dr Afroz Shakeel, Chairman of the organizing committee, along with Principal of Hanfia School Tahir Hussain, Rafat Ara and Rehman.
