Jamshedpur: Teenager’s body fished out from pond

Jamshedpur, April 14: The body of a 15 year old boy, identified as Karan Sharma was taken out from a pond in Gadra under Parsudih police station area on Thursday.

Sources said the youth, a class X student, had drowned in the pond while bathing. Few local residents present at the pond tried to save the boy, but failed as he went into deep water, sources said.

Karan was a resident of Rahargora. He had gone to the pond with his friends in the afternoon. He was a student of Rahargora High School. His father is a daily worker.
