Jamshedpur, Sep 10: MGM College and Hospital is in the news for the wrong reason yet again. A teenager named Radhika died during treatment and the family member created a ruckus accusing the hospital management of negligence. To quell the unruly scenes, the home guard personnel of the hospital also hurled sticks.
On receiving the information, hospital superintendent Arun Kumar reached the spot and assured the relatives of the investigation. Radhika’s family members said that they are residents of Mango Gaur Basti. On Wednesday night, Radhika had fallen while cycling, and received injuries on her stomach. He was admitted to MGM Hospital for treatment.
She got an ultrasound done on Thursday. On Friday morning, at 8 o’clock, she had a sudden pain in her stomach. The family called the doctor but no one came, Radhika died in pain. Superintendent Arun Kumar said that the condition of the girl was critical. She had an appendix in her stomach. The family was informed about this.
The real cause of her death will be known after the post-mortem report comes. This matter will be investigated. Action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.
