Jamshedpur Tarapore School boy achieves international chess rating

Jamshedpur, April 5: Pratyush Naman, a class 10 student has secured a FIDE (World Chess Federation) rating.

Current rating of Pratyush, a student of Tarapore School Jamshedpur, is 1097 and his FIDE ID is 25767950 which is awarded by the International Chess Federation.

Pratyush has been training under Chandan Kumar Prasad, Head Chess Coach at Chandan Chess Academy. 

Pratyush, with 1097 rating has joined the coveted club of players with the International FIDE rating.

He has been playing chess since 2015 and has brought many accolades to the school in various inter school chess tournaments.

Ishita Dey, principal, Tarapore School, Agrico, congrtulated Pratyush and wished him greater success in years to follow.
