Jamshedpur: Swadeshi Mela to kick off on March 9

Jamshedpur: Swadeshi Mela is going to be organized at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur, from 9th March to 16th March. A bhumi pujan ceremony was organized in this connection on Sunday. It was attended by the convenor of the fair Ashok Goel in the presence of Muralidhar Kedia, Bande Shankar Singh, JKM Raju, Manoj Kumar Singh and Rajkumar Sah.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion, Kedia said Swadeshi Mela was a unique event known all over the country. He said members of all communities participate in the fair. He said stall construction would start soon. A host of cultural and competitive events and exhibitions would be held during the fair, he said.
