Jamshedpur, Feb 5: In a unique initiative aimed at promoting football as a way of life and fostering community engagement, Jamshedpur is set to launch the Jamshedpur Super Mother’s League this Sunday. This innovative league brings together mothers of grassroots kids from Loyola, Carmel & Tinplate Open Football School, providing them with a platform to engage in competitive football and bonding with their children.
The league will feature a total of 7 teams, each comprising 8 players, and will be held every Sunday at the JRD Tata Sports Complex Archery Ground. Over the course of 14 weeks, each team will play 12 matches, with a total of 72 matches scheduled. Each match will have a duration of 25 minutes.
The Jamshedpur Super Mother’s League is designed to promote football as a sport and a way of life, while also providing an opportunity for mothers to experience the game from their children’s perspective. By putting parents in their kids’ shoes, the league aims to create a deeper understanding and appreciation of the sport, ultimately contributing to the growth and development of Indian football.
This groundbreaking initiative is expected to have a profound impact on the local community, promoting a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition. As the mothers take to the field, they will not only be competing for their teams but also inspiring their children and setting a positive example for the next generation of football enthusiasts.
