Jamshedpur, February 1: The Jamshedpur Super League (JSL) 2025–26 continued with exciting matches on Sunday at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, featuring teams from the Under-11, Under-09, Under-07 and Under-05 categories. The event highlighted the growing enthusiasm for grassroots football in the city.
In the Under-09 category, Melwood FC defeated JRD Junior 3–0, while Turf Green Warriors FC beat LPS Loyola by the same margin. Red Bulls recorded a strong 5–0 win over JMFA Little Champs, and Turf Blue Tigers secured a 3–0 victory against Turf Red Warriors FC. Singh Is King and Mini Maverick both won their matches 1–0, while Tinplate Super Seven edged Greek Warriors Loyola 2–1.
The Under-11 matches saw JFC ADV U-10 (Reds) dominate Armoury Lions with a 4–0 win. JFC Furnace B beat Loyola 7 Star 2–0, and JFC Furnace C narrowly defeated Tinplate Dribble Demons 1–0. Gyan Ganga Patamda posted a convincing 4–0 win over Snipper FC. Biswajit Manimela FC and JFC Furnace A played out an exciting 3–3 draw, while a few matches ended in goalless draws.
High-scoring games marked the Under-07 category, with Biswajit Manimela FC thrashing Loyola Deo Juvant Pro 9–1. Royal FC also impressed with a 4–1 win over Loyola Turf.
In the Under-05 division, young players displayed great energy as Biswajit Manimela FC defeated Tinplate Super U5 15–2. Loyola U-5 (A) beat Loyola Neymar 14–0, while Amrit Sporting, Singh Is King and Wolfsburg also recorded comfortable victories.
The league continues to provide a strong platform for young football talent in Jamshedpur.
