Jamshedpur students warn of protest at Raj Bhawan on July 15

Jamshedpur: The ‘Intermediate Bachao Sangharsh Samiti’ has been continuously agitating since the School Education and Literacy Department directed the transfer of 12th class students studying in affiliated colleges. The committee says that the future of the students has been put in limbo due to this directive.

A delegation of the committee met Jharkhand State Education Minister Ramdas Soren at Michael John Auditorium in Bistupur on July 8. However, the members of the committee allege that the minister’s behavior towards the students was extremely condemnable. He said that as the state education minister, it was the responsibility of Ramdas Soren to give clear information to the students, but he merely assured ‘don’t worry’ and did not tell anything else clearly.

The ‘Intermediate Bachao Sangharsh Samiti’ has called upon the students, teachers and parents of all the affected districts of the state to join the statewide demonstration in Ranchi on July 15.

The committee has warned of gherao of the Raj Bhavan so that the government pays attention to their demands and takes appropriate decision in the interest of the students. The committee says that they will further strengthen their movement so that the students can get justice.
