Jamshedpur, June 9: Jamshedpur Steelers are all set to begin their campaign in the Jharkhand T20 Cricket League, which is being organized by the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) at the JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi. Six teams are participating in the prestigious tournament, including the Jamshedpur Steelers.

The team will play a total of eight matches during the league stage. Jamshedpur Steelers will open their campaign against Koyalanchal Super Kings on June 10. The match is scheduled to begin at 8 pm.

The team has already reached Ranchi and has been undergoing intensive training for the past three days at JK International School. Practice sessions are also being held at the JSCA International Stadium under the guidance of Head Coach SP Gautam and Assistant Coach Amit Kumar.

Experienced cricketer Kumar Deobrat from Bokaro has been appointed captain of the Jamshedpur Steelers for the tournament. The squad includes Siddhant, Mohammad Kaunain, Anurag Singh, Manikant Mishra, Adarsh Giri, Kumar Karan, Ravi Sharma, Harsh Rana, Aman Kumar, Anukul Roy, Hrithik Anant, Jasraj, Nitin Kumar Pandey, Pranjal, Prateek, and Sahil Raj.

After their opening match, the Steelers will face Dhanbad Dynamos on June 12, Ranchi Titans on June 14, Chotanagpur Royals on June 15, and Santal Strikers on June 17. The team will again play Ranchi Titans on June 18, Dhanbad Dynamos on June 20, and Chotanagpur Royals on June 21 during the league stage.
