Jamshedpur SSP takes charge of security apparatus,CCTV systems to monitor activities during Durga Puja 

Jamshedpur:  The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishore Kaushal has taken proactive measures to ensure a secure and joyful Durga Puja.

Accompanied by the Superintendent of Police City/Rural, the officials conducted a thorough review of security arrangements at the District Control Room.

The SSP monitored key areas and intersections of the city through an extensive network of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras. This high-tech surveillance allowed them to assess the ongoing activities and strategize effective security measures.

During the inspection, the senior police officials provided crucial guidelines to the officers and personnel deployed for anti-crime checking. Emphasizing a proactive approach, they stressed the importance of heightened vigilance to thwart any potential security threats during the festive season.

In addition to law enforcement efforts, the officials highlighted the significance of community participation in ensuring a safe environment. They urged residents to report any suspicious activities and collaborate with the police to uphold the spirit of community safety.

To reinforce security, an increased deployment of police personnel was witnessed in major areas and intersections. This visible presence aims to deter criminal activities and create a sense of security among the public.

“Durga Puja is a time of joy and celebration, and it is our duty to ensure that the citizens can participate in the festivities without any concerns about safety. We have deployed additional personnel and enhanced surveillance to address any potential security challenges,” he stated.

The police force has strategically placed personnel at key points to conduct anti-crime checks, ensuring a visible presence to deter criminal activities. Additionally, coordination with other emergency services has been strengthened to facilitate a swift response in case of any untoward incident.

As part of community engagement, the police have urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities. “Community involvement is crucial in maintaining a safe environment. We encourage citizens to be our eyes and ears, reporting anything unusual to the nearest police officer or through the designated helpline,” added an official.
