Jamshedpur: SSP briefs Tiger Mobile and QRT officers

Jamshedpur, Aug 23: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), East Singhbhum, Prabhat Kumar, convened a meeting of Tiger Mobile and Quick Response Team officers on Tuesday and gave them instructions regarding duty. All the jawans were called to the Police Control Room at Sakchi.

Addressing the officers, the SSP said they should remain alert and vigilant all the time. He said the officers should not seek orders before discharging their duties. He advised them to keep a watch on their surroundings during the duty hours. In case some suspicious people are activities are seen, immediate action should be taken to conduct a probe into it, he said.

The SSP said the officers entrusted with night vigil should not sleep or be slack. Stringent departmental action would be taken against those found guilty of dereliction of duty, he said.

The SSP said crime control targets could be easily achieved in case the officers perform their duties sincerely.
