Jamshedpur: Soryadipta, Purav & Monali clinch winner trophies at Chandan Chess Academy’s Summer Chess Camp

Chandan Chess Academy’s Summer Chess Camp concludes

Jamshedpur, May 23: Chess Summer Camp 2024, organized by Chandan Chess Academy, concluded with great enthusiasm today, marking the end of an engaging and competitive five-day event. From May 19 to May 23, participants showcased their strategic prowess and determination through 17 rounds and three categories of chess tournaments.

The camp culminated in a moment of triumph and celebration as the winners were awarded trophies and certificates of excellence.

In Senior Group Souryadipta Sarkar bagged first spot followed by Nikunj Agrawal and Abhijeet Singh.

Purav Rushabh Gandhi was first in Junior Group. Atharv Adesara and Sri Vikhyath Uppalapati won the second and third spot respectively.

In the Women’s Group Monali Biswas was declared the winner while Aditi Kashyap bagged second spot. Anvi Agarwal was third.

In addition to the top accolades, all participants received certificates of participation and mementos, recognizing their hard work, dedication, and passion for the game.

The grand finale, held at a café in CH Area, was a special occasion marked by the presence of Chief Guest Kavita Agarwal, Principal of Mount Litera , and Guest of Honor Shankar Sarkar. Chief Organizer Akshay Agrawal also attended, interacting with every player and emphasizing the importance of chess in reducing stress and aiding personal development.
