Jamshedpur: Son alleges father and grandfather strangled mother to death

Jamshedpur, Nov 1: Son of  Sangeeta Kumari (30), a resident of Dimna Chowk, who died under suspicious circumstances has alleged that his father and grandfather strangled her mother to death.


The relatives of the deceased informed the police. The police have sent the body for post-mortem.


Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased living in Shankosai Road No-2 have accused the husband Tata Motors employee Pawan Yadav, father-in-law Deviprasad Yadav and other in-laws of strangling them to death. At the same time, the two-year-old son of the deceased said that the father and grandfather strangled the mother to death.

The parents are demanding a post-mortem of the dead body under the supervision of the medical board. The husband and father-in-law have been taken into custody by the police. Nisar Yadav, the father of the deceased said that the son-in-law often used to beat up the daughter. On Sunday also there was a dispute between the two. After getting information about the dispute between the two, they went to the daughter’s in-laws for a settlement. After resolving the dispute at one o’clock in the night, they returned to their homes.


At the same time, at 4 am on Monday, the police informed them about the death of the daughter. When they reached, the daughter was lying on the ground. Aryan, the two-year-old son of the deceased, informed the police that the grandfather and father strangled the mother to death. Police station in-charge Mithilesh Kumar said that after receiving the written application, the police will take further action.
