Jamshedpur, March 13: A ‘tax clinic’ session was organized at Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bistupur, on Suday. Various tax-related issues were discussed and resolved on this occasion. Many traders were present during the session. They discussed their various problems pertaining to GST.
A trader said dealers were being harassed in the name of BIFA reporting. Another trader said land documents were being sought by the department for GST registration.
Chamber Secretary Piyush Kumar Choudhary (Finance and Taxation) assured the traders that a delegation of Chamber would soon meet the GST commissioners and hand them a memorandum to demand resolution of their problems.
Chamber president Vijay Anand Moonka was also present at the meeting with other functionaries of the traders’ body.
