Jamshedpur, July 19: Eleven year old Divya Ratna has rendered eight Bhajans (devotional songs) in a half hour slot to be telecast by DD Ranchi at 4:30 pm on Saturday, July 20. Accompanying her on Tabla is another young and promising talent Nitish Bhatt. There are high expectations of the music lovers from this duo.
Divya took to music like duck to water with her patent ease of performance being reflected when she, as a four year old, sang Bhajans in a programme organized during Chitragupt Puja at Mango. Divya�s first tutor has been her grandmother. Presently this Std V student of Blue Bells English High School in Mango is being mentored by Monika Dutta.
Divya Ratna and Nitish Bhatt are both Akashvani artistes. Both have performed in various musical soirees in and around the city. Nitish is a student of eminent tabaliya Pradip Bhattacharya. Divya has performed in programmes organized by Maithili Parishad. She is also adept in rendering songs in Maithili and Bengali languages.
Both these promising talents are looking forward to the telecast of their performance on DD Ranchi Channel.
