Jamshedpur Sikh youth murder: Kale demands high level probe

Jamshedpur, July 13: The Sikh community is demanding a high level probe into the case involving murder of a 28-year-old Taranjit Singh alias Sammy. He was shot dead by criminals at Manila, the capital of Philippines, at around 12:00 noon on Sunday.

BJP leader Amarpreet Singh Kale on Tuesday visited the residence of Taranjit’s maternal uncle, senior social worker Gurdeep Singh Pappu in Sitaramdera and met the bereaved family. Kale informed that he has Tweeted about ruthless murder and demanded justice from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Arjun Munda and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, as well as gave complete information to Union Minister Arjun Munda and demanded investigation. He requested his cooperation for speedy action against the criminals.

Gurdeep Singh Pappu’s residence was in pall of gloom throughout the day, many dignitaries of the city were present even today to meet the bereaved family, among them were Sardar Inderjit Singh of Takht Har Mandir Sahib Patna, former MLA Kunal Sarangi, Sardar Shailendra Singh, social worker Shivshankar Singh, Satbir Singh Somu, Sire Singh, Akhilesh Pandey, Kulwinder Singh, Chanchal Singh Bhatia etc. were prominent.
