
Jamshedpur, Sept 1: On the occasion of 550th Gurpurb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji “Shabad Guru Yatra” started from the Sri Nankana Sahib in Pakistan which reached Jamshedpur on August 31 travelled through various Gurudwaras in the city on Sunday, September 1.

After staying overnight at Saatchi Gurudwara, the Nagar Kirtan moved towards Sonari, kadma, Ramdas Bhatta, Bistupur, Station Road, Burmamines were langar was served among the devotees.

Later in the evening the “Shabad Guru Yatra” passed through Refugee colony, Golmuri, Sidhgora, Baridih, Tinplate, Nildih and final stop of the day at Telco Gurudwara where Kirtan Darbar was organised.

Huge presence of Sikh Sangat warmly welcomed�the “Shabad Guru Yatra “.�

The Shabad Guru Yatra, led by �Panj Pyaras�(five beloved ones) under

the patronage of holy Guru Granth Sahib placed on a flower-bedecked vehicle, will next head to Ranchi.

A special bus displaying the relics of Sikh Gurus accompanies it.

Among those present on the occasion were senior officials of Central Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) led by its president Gurmukh Singh Mukhe.�
