Jamshedpur: A delegation of Sikh community leaders met SP City Subhash Chandra Jat on Monday to demand arresting of culprits in the recent firing on Jharkhand Sikh Pratinidhi Board president Gurucharan Singh Billa.
The delegation comprised the representatives of various Gurudwara committees and outfits of the city. A memorandum was handed to the SP in this connection.
Earlier, members of Jharkhand Sikh Pratinidhi Board convened a meeting at their Sakchi office to discuss the incident of firing on Billa. Assailants had opened fire on Billa in Sitaramdera a couple of days back. The outfit members condemned the incident and decided to meet senior administrative officials to demand speedy police action in the case.
The delegation members included Shamsher Singh Sidhu, Amarjeet Singh Bhamra, Harminder Singh Mindi, Sardar Arjun Singh Walia, Sardar Gurudayal Singh, Baljeet Singh, Trilochan Singh, Manjeet Singh, Surjeet Singh and Guru Charan Singh Bhogal.
