Jamshedpur, Apr 4: A dispute between two neighbouring shopkeepers led to one shopkeeper attempting to slit the other shopkeepers throat in Golmuri on Sunday.
According to reports, two shopkeepers Syed Farooque and Firoz had a fight over some issues and Firoz took up a sharp edged weapon and tried to slit Farooque throat and escaped from the spot.
A seriously injured Farooque, a resident of Old Purulia Road in Mango was rushed to Tata Main Hospital where his condition is stated to be critical.
Golmuri Police have started investigation into the case.
