Jamshedpur, Aug 3: DAV NIT students proved their merit once again by registering overwhelming performance in the CBSE Class 10 exam. The Central Board of Secondary Education announced the Class 10 Board Exam 2021 results on Tuesday (August 3) at 12 noon.
This year’s board examinations, originally scheduled to be held in May and June, were cancelled due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, the marks were calculated on the basis of internal assessments, including unit tests, mid terms and pre board exams.

No toppers have been declared in the examination as the board decided not to issue any merit list or merit certificates this year.

Shazia Sultan topped Jamshedpur and Kolhan Division scoring 99.2% marks. She scored 496 out of 500 including 100 in English, 100 in Hindi, 100 in Social Science, 99 in Science and 97 in Mathematics.

The second position in Kolhan was bagged by Rupali who scored 99% marks.
Tamanna Mahapatra and Aditi Mishra were joint third in School as they scored 98.6 % marks.
Total of 263 students from the school appeared for the exam and cleared it with flying colours. 40 students of the batch scored 90 % and above marks while 114 students secured 75 % and above.
