Jamshedpur, Dec 18: Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad, Jamshedpur took out Shaurya Parakram Yatra in honour of 1971 Indo-Pak war martyrs on December 18.
The yatra was flagged off by Lt Col Amit Bhardwaj fromSonari Army Camp in presence of social worker Shekhar Dey, Varun Kumar, Shivnath Sah, Keshav Prasad Singh, B Ishwar Rao, Vijay Narayan Singh, Murli Manohar Prasad, Shivji Singh and Manik Warda.
In his address, Colonel Amit Bhardwaj said that Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad is a living example of patriotism and awareness towards the army, which is continuously building the society by inculcating the spirit of patriotism among citizens.

The Parakram Yatra began from Golmuri Shaheed Sthal and traversed through RD Tata Technical Institute, Sakchi roundabout before culminating at Bajrangbali Temple in Bhalubasa.
Former army personnel, youth and citizens celebrated the 1971 victory and paid homage to the martyrs.

Former army personnel riding bikes with tricolor chanted slogans ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ all through the route. Havildar Vijay Narayan Singh, Naib Subedar B Ishwar Rao, Havildar Shiv Narayan Sah, Ram Bhajan Ram, who were part of the 1971 war were honoured by the guests.
