Jamshedpur, April 8: SDM Dhalbhum and ADM Law and Order inspected the procession route in Haldpokhar, Parsudih and Jugsalai, took stock of security arrangements, gave necessary guidelines.
Senior administrative officials reviewed the preparation for smooth and peaceful conduct of Ram Navami immersion procession at communally sensitive pockets of Haldipokar, Parsudih and Jugsalai areas.
SDM Dhalbhum. Sandeep Kumar Meena and ADM Law and Order Nandkishore Lal on Friday inspected the procession route of various akharas under Haldipokhar of Potka block and Parsudih and Jugsalai area in urban area.
The officials visited place of worships for Ramnavami and flag immersion procession route at Haldipokhar. The officials also marched on foot from Haldipokhar Bajrangbali temple to Rankini temple on Ramnavami flag immersion procession route. During this, instructions were given to the station in-charge to remove the four wheeler vehicles and housing construction materials (brick, ballast, stone) kept on the road from the road till the flag procession.
People’s representatives, arena committee members, enlightened people including head Sunil Munda, chief Syed Zabiullah, Ratan Sonkar of Vijay Bajrang Akhara, secretary Krishna Prasad, village head Mohammed Aslam and also met villagers and appealed to celebrate Ramnavami festival with peace and gaiety.
Adequate number of magistrates and police force would be deputed in all major places. Special vigil will be kept on anti-social elements.
SDM Dhalbhum and ADM Law and Order conducted a thorough investigation at various points regarding the maintenance of law and order in the procession route of Parsudih and Jugsalai area and also took stock of administrative arrangements. Necessary guidelines were also given to the concerned officials regarding monitoring from CCTV in the procession route and use of drone cameras at sensitive places.
