Jamshedpur, July 21: East Singhbhum District Commissioner on Tuesday ordered the district education department to shut down the school and colleges in Jamshedpur.
As tension prevailed, District Education Officer (DEO) and District Superintendent of Education (DSE) were told to inform the school management of closing down the school�s for a day (Wednesday), said DC Dr. Amitabh Kaushal adding that several city schools are holding first terminal exams while Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) and Kolhan University (KU) exams scheduled on Wednesday have been postponed.
